Meet Iryna Sheptytska

Make it useful.
Make it yours.

I’m a French and German teacher. I want this space to make a new language feel closer to everyday life.

A greeting, a question, a story you want to tell. These small moments give practice a purpose. Explore a sample, notice what you would like to say, and start from there.

A thoughtful starting point

Your life.
Your language.

French and German, with a clear purpose.

The programmes bring together focused practice and individual learning routes. Every programme page describes its intended level, format and scope so that you can explore what fits.

Space to ask questions.

Individual lessons should begin with a conversation about your goals, starting point and availability. There is no promise of a certificate or a particular level in a fixed time.

Out in the world

Ordinary moments.
More ways to join in.

A café conversation. A book that catches your eye. Small reasons to keep learning.

A few things to know

Questions, before
you begin.

Contact & enquiries
Can I study French or German?

Yes. The catalogue has separate French and German routes. Start with the free bilingual lesson if you would like to explore both before choosing.

Do I need to know my level?

No. The free practice is designed for first steps and is not a placement test. For individual lessons, your starting point and goals should be discussed before a programme is agreed.

Are the lessons online?

The individual programmes use live online lessons. The schedule, time zone and video-call arrangements are agreed by email. A computer, internet connection and a quiet place are needed.

What is the difference between a workbook and private lessons?

Workbooks are independent PDF practice materials. Private lesson programmes include the number of live sessions described on their own pages. Do not assume a workbook includes teacher feedback or live lessons.
